Cookie Policy
This page lists every cookie and every item of browser storage that llmslim.app, and the services it uses, can put in your browser: what each one is for, who sets it and how long it lasts. It also explains your choices. How we handle personal data in general is in our Privacy Policy.
Your choices
The first time you visit, a banner at the bottom of the page asks what you allow. Accept all, Reject all and Customize are equally easy, and nothing optional runs before you choose, except error monitoring (see below). You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or here:
A change takes effect at once, without reloading the page. When you withdraw consent for analytics, its scripts stop sending immediately, and anything they stored is removed. Your choice is kept in the llmslim_consent cookie for 12 months; after that, or when we change these categories, we ask again. Cookie settings need JavaScript; without it, the site runs no optional scripts at all.
Categories
- Strictly necessary (always on). Sign-in and its security checks, the protection of our host’s firewall, and remembering your choices here. Your light or dark theme and whether you have closed the Studio tour are in this group too: they are stored only when you ask for them (by switching the theme or closing the tour), stay in your browser, are never sent to us or anyone else, and only remember what you asked for, so they need no separate consent.
- Analytics and performance (off until you accept). Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which count page views and measure how fast pages load, and Mixpanel product events, which tell us which features are used. None of them sets a cookie or stores anything in your browser.
- Error monitoring (on unless you turn it off). When a page breaks, Sentry receives a report of the error so that we can fix it. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure: reports carry no identity, quoted text and links are removed before they leave your browser, there is no session replay, and nothing is stored in your browser. Turn it off in Cookie settings, or choose Reject all.
We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and no service on the site uses cookies to follow you to other sites.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics. Analytics stays off for as long as the signal is on, whatever you chose before, and instead of asking, the banner tells you that the signal was honoured. Error monitoring is not affected, because it does not track you or share your data for advertising; you can still turn it off. Mixpanel events are also never sent while your browser sends Do Not Track.
Cookies and storage in your browser
Everything below belongs to llmslim.app itself (first party). Names that start with __Secure- can only be set over HTTPS.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
llmslim_consentCookie | llmslim.app | Remembers your cookie choices: a version number, on or off for each optional category, and when you chose. After you choose in the banner or in Cookie settings. | 12 monthsSome browsers, such as Safari, keep a cookie set by the page for 7 days. | Strictly necessary |
__Secure-llmslim.session_tokenHttpOnly cookie | llmslim.app (sign-in) | Keeps you signed in. Page scripts can’t read it.Once you sign in. | 7 days, renewed while you use the site; deleted when you sign out | Strictly necessary |
llmslim_signed_inCookie | llmslim.app (sign-in) | Tells the page header that this browser is probably signed in, so it asks our server who you are only then and shows your account menu without a flash of “Sign in”. It holds the value 1 and nothing else: no ID, email or token. Page scripts can read it.Once you sign in. | Same as the session cookie: 7 days, renewed while you use the site; deleted when you sign out | Strictly necessary |
__Secure-llmslim.stateHttpOnly cookie | llmslim.app (sign-in) | Protects the Google or GitHub sign-in step against forged requests. While you sign in with Google or GitHub. | 5 minutes | Strictly necessary |

_vcrcsCookie | Vercel (our host) | Remembers that your browser passed a security check, if Vercel’s firewall asks for one during an attack.Only if the firewall challenges your browser. | 1 hour | Strictly necessary |
llmslim-themeLocal storage | llmslim.app | Your light or dark theme. After you switch the theme. | Until you clear this site’s data | Strictly necessary |
llmslim-studio-tourLocal storage | llmslim.app (Studio) | That you finished or skipped the Studio tour, so it doesn’t open again. After you finish or skip the tour. | Until you clear this site’s data | Strictly necessary |
better-auth.messageLocal storage | llmslim.app (sign-in) | When you sign in or out, tells your other open llmslim.app tabs to update. Holds the kind of change and the time. When you sign in or out. | Until the next sign-in or sign-out replaces it | Strictly necessary |
Vercel’s analytics script also checks local storage for a __va_attribution item, used only by sites that identify their visitors. llmslim.app never does, so it is never written; if you withdraw analytics consent, we remove it anyway.
Services that store nothing in your browser
These run only as your choices allow, and send their data to the provider named.
| Service | Provider | What it receives | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| Web Analytics | Vercel | A page view: the page’s path and referrer, your browser, operating system, device type and country. Vercel tells visits apart with a hash of the request that it discards after 24 hours. | Analytics and performance |
| Speed Insights | Vercel | How fast the page loaded and responded (Core Web Vitals), with the page’s path, your network speed, browser, device type and country. | Analytics and performance |
| Product events | Mixpanel | The ten product events listed in our Privacy Policy, with a random ID that lasts one page load. We ask Mixpanel not to geolocate your IP address. Not sent if your browser sends Do Not Track. | Analytics and performance |
| Error reports | Sentry | The error’s type and stack trace and the page’s path, with quoted text and links redacted. No identity, no request data and no session replay. | Error monitoring |
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies stops sign-in from working. Clearing this site’s data removes your choice too, and the banner asks again on your next visit.
Changes and questions
We update this page when the site’s cookies or storage change, and ask for your consent again when a change affects the categories above. Questions: hello@ameyor.in.
